We make regular checks to make sure there are no leaks or cracks. As trucks roll through our yard, we scan them for and radioactivity. Then as scrap is unloaded, any suspect loads first go onto concrete pads to isolate any potentially dangerous fluids. This also lets us separate water and oils, to eliminate any dangerous runoff.
